Something’s happening on the Arbitrum memecoin scene that you may want to pay attention to. Quietly, but not so quietly, a group of Abritrum-based memecoins are planting their flags and announcing, “We’re here to stay!” Just before the last bear market, utility tokens became the focus. Developers raced to create dApps and define new use cases for their tokens, and investors kinda’ ate that ish up. Memecoins got pushed aside, but those bastards wouldn’t die! With the explosion of Solana memes, it appears every network is embracing the memecoin culture – even Arbitrum.
When Zeleboba moved from Binance to Arbitrum in August 2023, it was a bold move. The team knew little about Arbitrum at the time, but we liked the idea of an Ethereum L2 with super cheap gas fees, so we made the leap! We announced ourselves to the Arbitrum world only to hear our own echo. Damn! Where are all the memes? Every Arbitrum X space we attended was focused on the tech. What did Zeleboba offer? Well, we had a Forex trading bot, and then…we didn’t. We had NFTs…and then…we didn’t. At every turn, things were not looking favorable, but we believed in the future of Arbitrum. Fast forward…It’s Zele time!
The Memes Go Marching One By One
While the Zeleboba team was plotting its next move, something happened on the Arbitrum network. Memecoins began to seemingly come from nowhere, and they came hard. (cue. the $BONER pun) Unlike some other networks, the Arbitrum meme communities show each other nothing but love, recognizing that our biggest wave can be made through a united front. So, while I have your attention, allow me to introduce you to a few of Zeleboba’s Arbitrum memecoin friends.

Yes, the $BONER logo is what you think it is, and they go hard for Arbitrum memecoins. $BONER is leading the charge to unite Arbitrum’s meme scene. Compared to Zeleboba, all of the tokens listed above are relatively new – $BOOP (12/18/23), $BONER (12/22/23), and $KNOW (1/3/24). They’ve each had a strong start, with $BOOP leading the pack with a $22M market cap and 2,400 holders. $BONER is at a strong $2M market cap with 3,500 holders, and $KNOW is at a $830k market cap. Seeing their success is encouraging for $ZELEBOBA which just reached its Arbitrum all-time high at a $295k market cap with 230 holders. To me, Zeleboba seems like an easy 10x waiting to happen. I’m biased, so do your own research.

Zeleboba: A Meme w/ Benefits
In early March 2024, Zeleboba rolled out its rebrand, introducing the new 8-member team, the Zele Workshop, the Cookie Jar, and Club Zele. All of this was capped with the release of a redesigned zeleboba.online website. (I heard the website designer was a pretty chill guy.)
None of this came at the expense of Zeleboba’s meme roots, in fact, they’ve only gotten stronger. Thanks to the Zele Workshop, Zeleboba is expanding its brand and helping a lot of projects along the way.
The unified front that is occurring with the other Arbitrum memecoins ensures that Zeleboba will have a seat at the table for the foreseeable future. This means that there’s a lot of potential upside for Zeleboba holders. If the success of the others is any indication, Zeleboba’s best days are ahead. Even more encouraging is the news that Arbitrum is ready to fully embrace and support the memecoin scene. And now that Robinhood has partnered with Arbitrum to make accessing the Arbitrum network easier, the sky is the limit. Wen moon?
