At first sight, I was a bit timid on the HAAGA concept, and it didn’t have a thing to do with the token. HAAGA is an acronym that stands for “High as a giraffe’s ass.” – a common simile used to describe how high one is after smoking marijuana. I’m sure you already knew that, but hey, I’m an educator.
Personally, I don’t partake for career reasons, but I also don’t throw shade at those who do. That’s a lie…I do complain about the smell.
What’s All The Buzz About
$HAAGA is a token on BSC that rewards holders 11% dividends in XRP (BSC). Holders receive their XRP rewards in a proportional share based on the size of their $HAAGA holdings. The developer, Adam Little, is fully doxxed and committed to the project – to the point of getting an awesome ass HAAGA tattoo on his right shoulder! The tattoo session was livestreamed in the HAAGA telegram channel as part of Adam’s commitment once the token reached and held a $50k market cap.

The XRP rewards have been as thick as weed smoke, with over 9,000 XRP paid to date. (That’s approaching $5,000 at the current XRP price.) It might not sound like a huge deal, but it’s early, and $HAAGA still has less than two hundred holders. There’s plenty of room to grow. In the true spirit of 420 culture, $HAAGA began with a supply of 420,000 tokens. Over 5% of the supply has been burned. (LOL…”burned” sounds a bit funny considering the token concept.) Holder wallets are limited to a max of 8,400 tokens (2% of supply).
Psychologically, I struggle with tokens that are priced above the penny mark. With $HAAGA’s limited supply and solid XRP rewards, I was able to push through the mental barrier. I’m betting on the future of XRP and the $HAAGA community, so I continue to accumulate $HAAGA. The current chart is looking very favorable, and activity in the project’s telegram channel is very BULLISH.
Seeds of Growth
One can tell a lot about community sentiment from social media activity and how often community members step up to support the token. The $HAAGA community is all in! They have members who create art, speak in spaces, shill on social channels, and actively seek out partnerships. A lot of this stems from Adam’s willingness to welcome other token communities into the HAAGA space. Tribalism doesn’t exist with HAAGA. The community is active and inviting. There are always a number of contests, collaborations, and giveaways occurring. One doesn’t have to partake in the culture to enjoy the good community vibes.
Smoke N’ Zele Collection
Our Zeleboba token community teamed up with HAAGA to offer a limited, 100 piece Smoke N’ Zele NFT collection to celebrate the solidarity between our two communities. This collection is minting on OpenSea. NFT minters will have a chance to win 0.4 ETH (~$1200) in a single drawing to be held live once the collection is fully minted out. Holders will also see random airdrops of Zeleboba and my new 0x177 token.
The two teams will split the remaining revenue from the mint and use the proceeds to benefit each project. This may occur through buyback and burn, marketing, or a treasury injection. Holders will also receive whitelist access to upcoming Zeleboba and 0x177 project releases.
The collection includes ten images with special rarities based on border color and a few other unique surprises. Each mint will cost 0.01 ETH (~$30). Zeleboba will absorb all fees associated with the listing.
When The Smoke Clears
HAAGA appears to be taking all the right steps for a young project. The developer is extremely active and present. We’ve all seen tokens that started with good intentions, but shrink due to the weight of expectations. I don’t sense that with HAAGA. The community has really rallied around Adam’s vision. Appetite for $HAAGA really comes to how much one can stomach the buy and sell taxes that are used to generate the XRP rewards and feed the LP. I generally try to stay away from tokens that are taxed above 10%, but I like $HAAGA enough to keep buying.
