It’s been a busy weekend for Zeleboba! On Friday the team announced their merger with ERC project, Crypto Grail, adding a revenue generating Forex trading bot to the ecosystem. Today, we learn that Zeleboba will acquire Walnuts ERC and its planned swap technology. Now this isn’t your ordinary clone and reskin of Uniswap or PancakeSwap, but I’ll get into that later. For now, let’s talk about how it all came together.

A Crack in the Nuts

After the announced merger with the Crypto Grail, a casual half-joking exchange between the Walnuts ERC developer and a Zeleboba core team member turned into a more serious conversation about the possibilities and benefits of an acquisition. Zeleboba community members, who were already excited about the recent Grail announcement, caught wind of the Walnuts ERC chatter. This excitement resulted in a well-received flooding of the Walnuts ERC telegram channel. Within 24 hours the details were ironed out in the background and the formal announcement, albeit reminiscent of the “I am your captain now.” scene from the Tom Hanks film Captain Phillips, was pasted in the Walnuts ERC channel. The deal is done.

Not Your Ordinary Nuts

Walnuts ERC launched in early May 2023. Playing on nut humor, the project built a small, but loyal community of holders – several whom filtered in from the Brewlabs community. Walnuts ERC was not just fun and games. The plan was to be the first project to implement the new swap technology being developed by Brewlabs, but thorough testing and router upgrades delayed the delivery. There were not enough pieces in play to keep some holders engaged, so momentum stalled. The planned swap will operate on a router developed by Brewlabs, allowing teams to place their liquidity with Brewlabs. It will feature technology and protections not currently available on both Uniswap and PancakeSwap, putting it in a class of its own. Revenue generated from use of the swap will flow to both Brewlabs and the projects implementing the swap. With Walnuts ERC agreeing to be the first to implement the swap, there was great potential for nut growth. (Pun very much intended)

Welcome Deez Nuts!

The nuts are in good hands. Pourhouse (MLLT911), a well-respected Brewlabs moderator and the Zeleboba core team member responsible for the Walnuts ERC acquisition, is using this move to help catapult long-term growth. Zeleboba has the team and momentum to carry Walnuts ERC’s plan forward. The four-member core team and growing six member brain trust are determined to take Zeleboba beyond memecoin status. Current $WALNUTS holders will receive a dollar for dollar plus an additional 10% airdrop of $ZELE. Walnuts ERC’s existing LP will be moved to Zeleboba, further strengthening the $ZELE token. To recover some of the loss in value of their $WALNUTS holdings, new $ZELE holders are encouraged to stake their tokens to earn additional $ZELE (currently over 25% APR). Nut holders should be encouraged. They are entering the Zeleboba holder community in time for a potentially huge return. It’s still very early.
